Vocalist

Loire Cotler is a Grammy-nominated vocalist and composer, renowned for her blazing vocal percussion solos and wordless singing. She is a core member of the Glen Velez Handance Ensemble and the Hans Zimmer Live band. Her voice and vocal arrangements can be heard on scores such as Hans Zimmer’s Academy Award-winning score for “Dune: Part One” and James Newton Howard’s Academy Award[1]nominated score for “Raya and the Last Dragon”. She has performed as a featured soloist with, among others, the National Chinese Orchestra and the American Composers Orchestra. Loire’s latest album, entitled “18 Wings”, is a reimagining of The Great American Songbook and features Grammy-winning artists Howard Levy, Eugene Friesen, and Frame Drum legend Glen Velez. Loire is a passionate educator and has been invited to present at conservatories around the world. She has a Bachelor Degree from Berklee College of Music and a Master Degree in Music Therapy from NYU.
