Luis Ribeiro

Luis Ribeiro was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and has worked across many different musical genres including pop, rock, funk, opera, jazz, Austropop and world. He has collaborated with a wide range of artists and ensembles, including Ricky Martin, Gloria Gaynor, Martin Grubinger, Count Basic, opera singer Juan Diego Flórez, Erwin Schrott, Angelika Kirchschlager, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, saxophonist Bill Evans and many more. He teaches percussion at the University for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz and the Prince Claus Conservatory in Groningen.
