Venezuelan-born Pedro Eustacheis a world-renowned multi-woodwind soloist, composer, lecturer, educatorand instrument-maker with over 45 years of professional experience and extensive academic studies. He achieved a degree in Classical flute from two European Conservatories and holds a M.F.A. in Jazz performance from the California Institute of the Arts. Pedro’s passion for world music led him to study under iconic masters such as the late legends Pndit. Ravi Shankar and Pndt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, as well as Armenian duduk with Djivan Gasparyan, Arabic Nay with Nabil Abdmouleh, and Australian didgeridoo with David Hudson, among others. Distinguished by his collection of around 600 musical instruments, encompassing both acoustic and electronic creations, many of which he built himself, Pedro has gained prominence as a featured winds soloist in global tours such as “Hans Zimmer Live”, “The World of Hans Zimmer”, and “Game of Thrones-Live” since 2017. His collaborative endeavors include performances, recordings, and tours with esteemed artists such as Sir Paul McCartney, John Williams, Hans Zimmer, James Newton Howard, Michael Giacchino, Danny Elfman, Alexandre Desplat and many others. Pedro is highly regarded as the first-call world winds soloist in the Los Angeles and international recording studios scene, having contributed to over 150 film, TV, and video game soundtracks, including noteworthy works such as the Oscar-winning “Dune” (2022), the Grammy Award-winning “Encanto” (2023), “The Lion King 2”, “Pirates of the Caribbean”, “How to Train your Dragon”, “Indiana Jones 4”, “Black Panther 2”and many more. Additionally, he has made a notable impact in the video game community, earning recognition as ”#Flute Guy” for his viral performances in events like “The Game Awards”. Overall, Pedro’s multifaceted expertise and global influence position him as a distinguished figure in the world of music and performance.
